Chris Kunze, DVM, Diplomate, ACVR, is a Board-certified Veterinary Radiologist at VetRad.
Dr. Kunze earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University in 2000. After earning her veterinary degree, he completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Virginia Tech University. He then went on to complete a diagnostic imaging residency at Texas A&M University. In 2004, Dr. Kunze passed the American College of Veterinary Radiology’s board-certifying examinations, becoming a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (DAVCR).
During his free time, Dr. Kunze stays busy enjoying the Austin area with his wife and son. The family can often be found trying to avoid sunburns while water skiing on Lake Austin. He also enjoys backpacking and mountain climbing in southwestern Colorado and Eastern Utah.
